Nature (Prakriti) consists of three gunas (attributes) known as Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. All natural phenomena in the universe exhibit these three qualities in varying degrees and they determine the inherent characteristics of all created things.
Sattva is a state of harmony, balance, purity, illumination and wisdom.
Rajas manifests as activity, passion and restlessness in nature, and Tamas expresses itself as inertia, dullness and ignorance.
Sattva Montessori is founded on the belief of giving your child the very best of contemporary education combined with traditional Indian values.
The credo at Sattva Montessori is to inspire a passion for learning through intellectual pursuit, self-discovery and creative expression. The School brings a refreshing approach to contemporary teaching with emphasis on 'prepared' environment that focuses on 'learn-by-doing' activities to make your child independent.
